There are many different steps involved in the fabrication of e.g. inflatable boats. An important one is welding.
Here we learn in an impressive and informative video more about the welding of airtight inflatable boat material by the company Leister – here with boat material mare 850 (H2562-2004) from Heytex.
We see welding by means of hot air. Our mare products from the HEYboat range include various products for the production of high-quality inflatable boats that can be processed in all common welding methods.
The formula of our mare products makes welding very easy. As befits a textile used in the manufacture of inflatable boats, our melt roll calendering technology naturally ensures that the products are airtight compared to other coating processes. By using a “shot distortion measuring device”, the shot distortion can be reduced to a minimum directly at the coating machine and excellent adhesion values of substrate and coating are ensured

TRAS 120
In order to increase the safety of biogas plants, the German Federal Ministry for the Environment published the new Technical Rule for Plant Safety “Safety Requirements for Biogas Plants” (TRAS 120) on 21.01.2019.
Our combibowl 900 TRAS quality (H3654) from the HEYgreen portfolio naturally meets the requirements of TRAS 120.
Particularly noteworthy here are the requirements for fire protection and the discharge capacity of static electricity, defined via the surface resistance.
The surface resistance of combibowl 900 TRAS is < 10^11 Ohm, measured at 23 °C and 30 % relative humidity, sufficiently low to dissipate static discharges and thus avoid potential ignition hazards.
Our TRAS quality can be processed in the usual welding processes, has a high-gloss coating to optimally protect the membrane from weathering and is available in fabric widths of up to 320 cm.

Interface to the customer
New materials and applications will determine the future of Heytex and that of our customers.
In order to meet the requirements for innovative, solution-oriented and also sustainable materials, we at Heytex have established an independent department with the Application Engineering.
In order to provide support with technical questions, the focus of the application engineering is on the customer’s needs. It acts as an interface between our customers and Heytex, regardless of whether it is a question of adapting an existing product to the conditions at the customer’s site or providing advice with regard to the manufacture of the product.
With Sebastian Herrmann and Marcel Scholl two competent application engineers support you in your project with technical expertise.
