This product line embodies Heytex Group’s commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness. Under the motto “WE ARE TEXCELLENCE®” we present vivatex as a symbol of vitality, the power of nature, and the pursuit of continuous innovation. It exemplifies how technical textiles can not only meet the highest quality standards but also contribute to environmental conservation.
What criteria must products of the vivatex line meet?
Fabian Kampsen: Products of the vivatex line must meet strict criteria that reflect our commitment to a green future. This includes the use and incorporation of at least 20% renewable raw materials, recycled materials, and the additional implementation of CO2 compensation options. These clear guidelines underscore our dedication to eco-conscious production and a sustainable product lifecycle.
It is important to mention that these criteria are subject to continuous expansion and development, marking the beginning of our journey. This journey is also shaped by close collaboration with our customers and their ideas.
What contribution does vivatex make to environmental protection?
Fabian Kampsen: Apart from the aforementioned environmentally friendly materials, we place special emphasis on our modern manufacturing processes, tailored to optimize end products according to their specific applications. Additionally, the end use itself contributes through durability and high-quality execution. Already, the CO2 emissions for some items in the vivatex range, such as our innovative Cargo item, are 40% lower than comparable products.
What products are included in vivatex?
Fabian Kampsen: For some time now, our customers have been able to obtain our popular truck tarpaulins with recycled base carriers. Here, we are also operating with CO2 compensation. Brand new is a tent material with coating as well as two glamping tent articles from our subsidiary TenCate outdoorfabrics. Particularly impressive: the base carrier here consists of 30% hemp, 50% recycled polyester, and 20% organic cotton. For those who look closely, they will also discover a new roll-up door material, where the recycled base carrier and coating material bring vivatex to life.
