From the beach to the Hasestadt

There was an exciting new addition to this year’s Bramscher Tuchmacherlauf: Heytex Bramsche GmbH from Engter took part with its own team for the first time – and with an impressive team of almost 30 motivated runners! From experienced marathon runners to complete beginners, everyone was there and everyone was looking forward to the start together.

For the Heytex team, the focus is on fun and a sense of community: “Taking part is everything!” A particular challenge: as the participants come from different regions of Germany (and even beyond), it was unfortunately not possible to train together. Nevertheless, everyone brings a good dose of motivation with them. Particularly noteworthy: one runner traveled all the way from Spain (definitely the longest journey at 1563 km), where she kept fit by training runs directly on the beach. From the Spanish coast directly to the Hasestadt Bramsche – making the Tuchmacherlauf international!

But the team is not only characterized by its passion for running – it will also be a real eye-catcher visually. All runners competed in uniform, striking jerseys and are therefore guaranteed to stand out immediately in the crowd of runners. Participation in the Bramscher Tuchmacherlauf is also an ideal complement to the 2nd Health Day, which Heytex organized for all employees at the Bramsche site on 18 September. The combination of sporting activity, team spirit and the promotion of health is firmly anchored in Heytex’s corporate culture. A special highlight of the Health Day: Heytex organized a DKMS typing campaign within the workforce to recruit potential stem cell donors. The run offered a great opportunity to live and present these values not only within the company, but also in the region.

Best of all, all our participants successfully reached the finish line, cheered on by many colleagues! Whether with a best time or at their own pace – everyone is a winner with us!
