New visitor lounge at Heytex
Completely redesigned by the company’s own efforts
The employees of Heytex Bramsche GmbH have completely redesigned and renewed the former gatehouse.
The old gatehouse was getting on in years and a reorganization of the visitor regulation with registration terminal for visitors and goods delivery had made a renewal necessary. The company also wanted to avoid having to put its employees on short-time work completely at the end of 2020 and beginning of 2021 due to the pandemic and had therefore initiated this project.
With full commitment and expertise, employees from the logistics, production and maintenance departments implemented the new concept from marketing. And they even did it sustainably. The old gatehouse container could no longer be used. It was dismantled and replaced by an existing container, which was energetically upgraded. With its new wood-look facade and colorful welcome banners on the outside, as well as an appealing and attractive interior with materials produced at Heytex, the new house now looks more like an inviting visitor lounge than a mere check-in. “We are proud and grateful for the dedication of our employees, especially now that Heytex has not been on short-time work since March, the order books are pleasingly full and our staff is very involved and busy. So they still found the time and the commitment – beyond the usual measure – to bring this project to completion,” praises Managing Director Hans-Dieter Kohake.
Heytex has weathered the last few months well. Although orders in the advertising sector have collapsed due to industry-related factors, it has been possible to compensate in other areas – despite the difficult raw material situation in the meantime. The company is currently very busy and is urgently looking for staff for production.
The new visitor regulations require some getting used to, but thanks to the excellent implementation by Heytex employees, they are certainly not that difficult.
