Bramsche in children’s hands

For the third time, the Bramsche Volunteer Fire Department organized the popular children’s and family festival “The City in Children’s Hands” on July 10 at Hasesee in Bramsche.

This year, the organizers went all out especially for the children. After such a long pandemic, in which the children suffered the most, they want all children and parents to get moving.

For this purpose, the organizers have put together a great program:

  • Blue light mile with exercises of the fire department, fire department divers, emergency command vehicle, drone, vehicle exhibition, historical vehicles, rescue dog squad, THW
  • Fireman SAM was at the start
  • Performance of the popular children’s singer Volker Rosin
  • Children’s show of the Jojos with a lot of movement
  • Many demonstrations of sports clubs
  • Lots of hip castles and children’s action equipment
  • Street Food Light Festival
  • and much more

Heytex also participated with a booth. Our dedicated team braved the changeable weather. The children had the opportunity to design the Heytex world in a new and colorful way. The result were great, creative pictures! The prize was an XXL teddy bear with a Heytex shirt, which will now be raffled off to a little artist.

Our popcorn machine was also very popular. For a small donation for a good cause, the little guests could pull sweet popcorn here for free.

It is nice that all proceeds of the complete event go to the benefit of the volunteer fire department, which in turn uses them for projects for children in the city area. A win-win for everyone!

Great that we were there!
