The raw fabric of HEYtrax is produced in an elaborate weaving process by a defined amount of distance threads. In comparison to knitted products, this leads to a much stiffer material with better dimensional stability. The woven surface in conjunction with a special coating process  for inflatable products makes it possible to produce particularly lightweight and airtight spacer textiles.
