Five digitex® textile products made by Heytex have been certified by Oeko-Tex®.

Five Heytex sign textiles have been tested by the independent “Umweltlabor ACB GmbH” and passed the comprehensive tests of the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 class IV.
Thus, all products of the decoflex fabric range and the heylux backlit material have been certified. With this, Heytex sets standards as to the ecological safety of textiles, as the harmful substance tests altogether go far beyond already existing national laws.

As a modern and international company, Heytex does not only think locally or nationally, but most of all globally. To reduce harmful impacts on the environment to a minimum, to use natural resources as economically as possible and to treat the resources sensitively are integrated parts of the management principles of the Heytex Group.

This is underlined by the consequence commitment for environmental protection and safety, amongst others by the implementation of regular ecological and environmental audits, the introduction of an environmental management system and memberships in associations expressly devoted to the protection of the environment (e. g. EPCoat Project).

Amelie Hetzel, Junior Product Manager for the sign range at Heytex played a leading role in the certification process and stated that “nature conservation is a decisive part of our way of thinking. This is why the Oeko-Tex® certification was a logical and further step. Oeko-Tex®Standard 100 provides certified safety to us and our clients – environmentally friendly and recyclable.”

At International Ad & Sign Exhibition in Shanghai Heytex convinced with the revised product range.

The probably most impressive exhibit was the big lightbox, equipped with a seamless digitex®heylux backlit textile. This PVC-free, highly translucent backlit is the first of its kind in widths of 5m.
With this textile, Heytex provides unprecedented possibilities for efficient lightbox advertisement applications: this 5 m textile practically removes dimensional restrictions of the so far available fabric formats for modern LED lightboxes and adds an excellent and new dimension to them.
Heytex offers the customer a wide range of sign media. From PVC-free textiles and banner materials to a comprehensive laminate series. For every application and printing method a suitable material can be offered to achieve the best printing results.

Textile meets Textile

Cooperation of Heytex and JAB Anstoetz at FESPA 2014.
At the international trade fair for digital print, FESPA in Munich, Heytex, the leading international company for coated textiles, has come up with something truly special this year: a cooperation with the world’s leading home textile print company JAB Anstoetz from Bielefeld.

Technical textiles by Heytex from Bramsche are used everywhere. The sought-after specialists for coated fabrics are pleased about their loyal customers that highly appreciate the “premium quality of the products, on-time delivery even for demanding projects and the dedicated commitment” according to Heytex communications manager Nicole Meiners.
On the sign market, the banner materials made by HEYtex® with PVC coating have become indispensable for a long time already. But especially for indoor use, more and more PVC-free materials with textile character are required. Therefore Heytex continuously expands its textile digitex® product range to be able to offer an appropriate product for every application.

Together with the creative agency Stiehl/Over from Osnabrück, Heytex will place the textile digitex® media in the focus at the upcoming FESPA. To communicate the “textile” image of Heytex at FESPA 2014, textile images will be presented on textile surfaces: on digitex®products by Heytex. The question what those textile images would actually look like and where they would be available can be answered quickly: from the world market leader for home textiles, JAB Anstoetz from Bielefeld (who “by chance” is also a customer of Stiehl/Over). Because “by chance” JAB Anstoetz starts a new campaign this spring with the premium collection “Grandezza”. So cooperation between Heytex and JAB was so obvious.

In addition, there was the fact that the campaign motives of JAB – beautiful women under water in front of beautiful fabrics – were extremely well adapted to the motto of FESPA 2014: “Dive deeper into digital print.” So it could grow together, what belongs together: textile competence for home textiles for digitally printable textiles.

Heytex at Fespa Munich

Pathbreaking textiles for high-tech print processes.

Whether on textiles or banners, as backlit, frontlit, mesh or blockout: materials of the HEYtex® brand are a guarantee for impressive results. At FESPA 2014 Heytex presents amongst others three new decoflex fabrics of the textile digitex® product range.

digitex® decoflex opaque – The new textile blockout for direct sublimation, UV and latex printing

The new premium material impresses by optimum flatness. decoflex opaque is very versatile: Whether as wall hanging, mounting, wall covering, advertising medium in display systems, at trade fairs or as wallpaper: decoflex opaque leaves an excellent impression everywhere. In addition, time-consuming preparation of rough backgrounds is no longer required when decoflex opaque is used. No matter what is to disappear behind a banner, decoflex opaque hides it reliably and the advertising message will not be affected. A must for the professional design of elegant interiors, exhibition stands and other applications. The make of the soft flowing deco material is also convincing.

The material is nearly resistant to causing bends and can be processed well with silicon welt. The slight elasticity in length and width also provides simple pre-stressing. decoflex opaquewas developed for single-sided print for sublimation direct print. But it can also be printed with UV or latex inks. As the first medium of its class decoflex opaque is available up to 5 meters wide – the new first choice for seamless, large-format premium applications at trade fairs and events, as well as for interior design where maximum brilliance and detail even under strong light (such as flashlights or TV-camera light) is required.

digitex® decoflex delight – The new textile backlit for sublimation printing.
Also in the field of backlighting, a new premium material has been developed specially for sublimation print. The soft, flowing material is available in a width of 320 cm, is highly translucent and flexibly foldable. With 255 g/sqm, the new substance is soft to the touch and the surface shimmers velvety. Incomparable brilliance is created by the sublimation process of the ink and leaves a lasting and unique impression in backlit boxes.

digitex® decoflex premium – The new textile blockout for sublimation, UV and latex printing.
The new premium deco material decoflex premium is also flexibly foldable. The soft, flowing material with cloth character can be used as a frontlit for diverse applications indoors and is the portfolio supplement to the already existing digitex® decoflex. However, the premium variant is a bit heavier with 250 g/sqm, but has a firmer grip. For a start, decoflex premium is only available in a width of 310 cm.
All three products are part of the successful decoflex HEYblue® digitex® range and of course they are PVC-free, 100% recyclable and flame retardant in accordance with the B1 standard.HEYblue® = 0 % PVC, 100 % textile, 100% recyclable.
